Our young musicians recently enjoyed an unforgettable masterclass with internationally acclaimed cellist and Future Talent ambassador Sheku Kanneh-Mason at the Royal Academy of Music.

The session began with a cello quartet performance of Piazzolla’s vibrant Libertango, as the quartet prepared for an upcoming concert.

Sheku then worked individually with Yoko, Iris and Oliver, sharing valuable insights about how to improve their playing, stage presence and more!

The participants were able to bring friends and family to watch them play, and meet Sheku – which was a dream come true for brothers Sami and Mehdi, who got to meet their idol!

We’re so grateful to Sheku for his ongoing support for Future Talent. Well done to Angela, Luke, Sami, Iris, Yoko and Oliver for representing Future Talent

It’s opportunities like these that stay with a young musician for a lifetime!
