FUNDRAISE

Love music and want to make a difference? Every pound raised brings us closer to a future where income does not restrict musical potential.

Whether you’re running a marathon, hosting a concert, baking cakes, or streaming live, fundraising for us helps break down barriers for young musicians from low-income backgrounds.

FAQS

We recommend using the platform JustGiving to set up a personalised fundraising page. It’s secure, easy to share, and the funds come directly to Future Talent. If you want to fundraise in another way, check out the Fundraising Pack for details on how to pay in donations raised offline

Donating with Gift Aid means charities can claim an extra 25p for every £1 that’s donated, sourced from the income or capital gains tax you have already paid. That means it costs the donor nothing extra. The Gift Aid scheme is for UK taxpayers. You can find a helpful Guide to Gift Aid here: https://help.justgiving.com/hc/en-us/articles/200670391-A-guide-to-Gift-Aid-UK-only

Gift Aid can be claimed by UK taxpayers on personal donations, however Gift Aid cannot be claimed on money raised from ticket sales, raffles, or collections. If your donors are donating individually via your fundraising page, they can add Gift Aid when they give, if they are eligible.

We’d love to help where possible. Tag us in your social media posts or share with us by email.

Setting a target is a real motivator for your supporters to help you reach it. However, we understand that sometimes, despite our best efforts, we can’t quite get there. Please get in touch with us if you’re worried and need ideas to help you reach it.
