A GIFT FOR YOUR WILL
A gift in your Will to Future Talent means that one day, your legacy will be remembered through music. Your legacy could help create a future where no young musician is priced out of their potential.
A legacy gift is a powerful way to invest in future generations of musicians and provides the charity with the stability we needs to continue this important work.

What could your gift help make possible?
- A gift in your Will could help provide:
- Purchasing a young person’s own instruments
- One-to-one instrument lessons
- Travel to lessons, auditions, rehearsals and performances
- Masterclasses with world-class musicians
- A young person attending their very first music residential
- The chance to perform in front of an audience
- Wellbeing support from our team of Programme Managers
- Opportunities to create and perform new music
Every young musician’s journey is different. The greatest impact often comes from being able to provide the right support at the right time.
Giving where support is needed most
Most supporters choose to leave a gift that can be used wherever the need is greatest.
This gives Future Talent the flexibility to respond to the individual needs of young musicians and invest in opportunities that will have the greatest impact.
Create a Supporter Award
Some supporters wish to celebrate a lifelong passion for music, honour a loved one or support a particular area of musical development.
A legacy gift can, in some circumstances, be used to establish a Supporter Award. Existing examples include the Enid Falaschi Award for New Music and the Michael Heaton Award for Keyboard, which provide enhanced support to young musicians in specific focus areas.
If you are interested in exploring the possibility of creating a Supporter Award through your legacy, we would be pleased to discuss the options with you.

Ways to leave a gift
There are several ways to include Future Talent in your Will:
- A share of your estate
- A percentage of what remains after gifts to family and friends have been made.
- A fixed sum
- A specific amount of money.
- A specific gift
If you are interested in leaving an item of value, such as a musical instrument, please get in touch with us to discuss this prior. You can view our instrument donation policy here.
Your solicitor or legal adviser can help you decide which option is right for you.
