As part of an established partnership between Future Talent and Leeds-based South Asian Arts UK, Classical Composer and Songwriter Kirpal Singh Panesar facilitated a group of 12 young musicians to compose a piece that communicates gratitude and happiness. Together they created the beautiful and lilting “Serendipity” and said: “The piece we have created is unique to us and the experience is helping us to become better performers and given me an insight into a new world of composing which I am grateful for”. The composers, aged between 10 and 17, will all be performing “Serendipity” at the Roundhouse, including: Anjali, Anisha, Anika, Subhan, Amrita, Sahib, Ahmed, Dilraj, Ali, Ikjot, Sukhraj and Preet.
