2019 marked the 15th Anniversary of Future Talent and we celebrated with a concert held at The Lansdowne Club in London on the 27th November.

The programme began with Concerto for 4 Violins in Gmajor by Telemann, skilfully played by Shona, Orchid, Sharon and Hana. It was a beautiful start and was followed by a creative rendition of John Coltrane’s Wise One by Archie (Alto Saxophone) and Scottie (Piano), a performance by new Awardee Katie on Bassoon and a rendition of a Chopin Polonaise by Peter (piano).
The concert included Future Talent alumni from the past 15years – Joy Becker, one of the first supported by the charity, played Beethoven Romance in Fmajor accompanied by Tadashi Imai, and The Melā Quartet (Daniel Bovey, FT Alumnus 2010) played a selection of new and old repertoire with a furious encore of Rimsky Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee to end the evening!

A huge thank you to all who came and supported the event and helped make it a memorable evening for Future Talent staff, musicians and audience alike.
