Lesley Garrett CBE is one of Britain’s most famous sopranos. She was a student at the Royal Academy of Music – where she became a fellow in 1995 – and the prestigious National Opera Studio. Her career launched after she won the Kathleen Ferrier Award in 1979, after which she went on to record 13 solo albums and appear regularly in operas and in concert. Internationally Lesley has performed throughout Europe, the USA, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and South Korea.
